A Texas-based company giving its employees a stake in the company, and a $50 million payout divided among employees, has a subsidiary in Alabama.
Integrity Marketing Group has almost 4 million clients in the U.S. through insurance carriers and its distribution network. Over the past three years, it has increased its earnings by more than 800 percent through acquisitions. One of those is Medicare Advantage Specialists of Hoover, which it acquired for an undisclosed sum in October. It was the company’s 24th acquisition in the past two years.
On Tuesday, the company announced a new employee ownership plan, allowing eligible employees with at least one year of tenure to take a stake in the company at no cost. The eye-catching part was a $50 million bonus split among the 750 employees across the company’s brands.
Employees of newly-acquired businesses will also join the ownership program.
Integrity co-founder and CEO Bryan Adams called it “the most rewarding day of my career.”
